Why It Is Important
Organizational Coaching is the process of coaching executives or teams in an organization to meet specific organizational goals. It starts with our coaches working one-on-one with an executive or a team of executives to develop a plan toward a specific change or goal. From there we deconstruct the goal starting from the outcome and develop a timeline that works. Benchmarks for success are created and a list of tasks to be accomplished along with the skill sets needed are established.
Coaching continues at set intervals to ensure that benchmarks are reached and goals are met along the way. If changes are needed, our coaches work the organization to develop the best course of action for those changes.
Organizational coaching is important because our coaches have the experience and qualifications to ensure that your company accomplishes the goals it sets out for itself. We are objective in the process and therefore can offer insights from a world view perspective. Our goal in organizational coaching is to achieve the goal set forth therefore we champion forward action and successful results.
An intrinsic benefit of Organizational Coaching is that the executives on the team receive support to develop themselves as leaders. While working on the organization’s goal is the main objective, the executives are able to improve their competence and develop their leadership strengths through the process. Tools such as 360º feedback can be used to track individual improvements and show evidence of positive shifts in the executive’s performance. There are no limits to the types of organizations that can benefit from organizational coaching.
Here's what our clients say:
"Our employees who have worked with your coaches are very positive and appreciative of their coaching skills. All believe they have gained in knowledge, self-confidence, and ability to work more effectively with their staff in a leadership capacity. Your coaching support has assisted [our] frontline leaders to grapple with individual issues in actualizing their roles. Increased employee satisfaction as a result of being valued in the organization is a significant benefit of this leadership development strategy."
"Where do I begin? From the very beginning I struggled with the concept of coaching in our environment. I understand the coaching model in sports...coaches are goal oriented, supportive and thrive on pushing their athlete's to new heights. The power [in Organizational Coaching] is understanding that we can lean on others and bounce ideas off them without fear of looking and feeling foolish. Often we have the answers we are looking for within ourselves and just need encouragement, support and involvement from others to make good decisions. I recognize that this is powerful stuff. It is not always comfortable discussing challenging problems...[it] moves me outside of my comfort zone. I do prioritize and am highly effective and competent...I fear however that you may make me more effective and competent! "
